Members receive substantial discounts on the full range of training events, which include:
  • Commissioned events tailored to the needs of individual agencies or groups of agencies.
  • Workshops on core practice issues or matters that have currency.
  • Postgraduate level courses 'Securing Children's Futures' and ‘Relative Matters’ run annually in conjunction with the University of Strathclyde

  • Organisation of at least two conferences per year focusing on issues identified as being of critical importance to practitioners with expert speakers of the highest standing.
This membership is offered to all professionals working to improve the lives of looked after and adopted children.

This includes social work, legal, health and research professionals.

Associate Membership is for organisations such as law firms, NHS Trusts, Clinical Commissioning Groups, adoption, fostering or family support agencies, training or service support providers, childcare charities, foster carers' or adopters' associations, Government departments or statutory agencies, voluntary agencies, university departments or research projects.

This membership is open to all local authorities, health professionals, voluntary adoption agencies and independent fostering providers throughout Scotland
Consortia Membership
Consortia Membership provides additional features but is only available as an extension for organisations who are already Corporate members.

How Much Does it Cost?

The membership prices can be found on the fees page, however Corporate Membership is calculated based on your size and number of delegates.

How Do I Join?

We need ypu to fill in an appllication form which can be found in our downloads section or you can download it by clicking here.

How Long does it last?

Membership is valid for a year from the payment date and we issue requests for renewal 6 weeks prior to the year ending.
